THERE IS A SLIGHT RISK OF THUNDERSTORMS GENERALLY ALONG AND NORTH OF INTERSTATE 20. ISOLATED TO SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS WILL OCCUR ACROSS NORTH TEXAS THIS AFTERNOON. A FEW OF THESE STORMS MAY BECOME SEVERE PRODUCING HAIL TO OVER 1 INCH IN DIAMETER AND WIND GUSTS TO 60 MPH. STRONG TO SEVERE STORMS ARE EXPECTED TO DEVELOP NORTHWEST AND WEST OF THE AREA ALONG A DRY LINE LATE THIS AFTERNOON. THESE STORMS WILL MOVE EAST/SOUTHEAST INTO NORTH TEXAS BY EARLY EVENING. LARGE HAIL AND DAMAGING WINDS WILL BE THE MAIN THREATS WITH ANY STORMS THAT DEVELOP...HOWEVER ISOLATED TORNADOES ARE POSSIBLE NEAR THE RED RIVER.

Storm in The Mid Cities
The storm that is moving through the middle part of the Metroplex will be bearing down on Downtown Dallas soon. It's marginally Severe but rain will be the main focus.
